Weights Exercise

Is it possible to exercise, lift weights and be in good shape without feeling sore and run down?
Is it really necessary to feel tired and sore in the days following a workout? Isn’t there some way to be in good shape without having to feel bad on a regular basis? What causes muscle and joint soreness and chronic fatigue?
Is occasional soreness and fatigue an inevitable consequence of fitness?
yes, it is very possible! You are doing something wrong. i am not sure if you are new at starting an Exercise Program, but it is not normal to be very sore. Muscle soreness is when you overwork your muscles and instead of breaking aerobically (with oxygen) they run out of oxygen and must run anerobically. There is a price to pay! without oxygen, your body will produce lactic acid that eats at your muscle! it deteriorates your mucles and cause them to feel sore the next day. Your muscle has little cuts and bites all over it where the acid touched it.
You are probably working too hard. Try lifting lighter weights
Exercise is supposed to give you energy, not take it away from you. If this is your few couple of weeks starting out, then it is normal. But once you get in a routine, you should feel more energized.
