Best Running/Cushioning shoe?

Feet are all different. And there’s not one real “best shoe.” The correct answer is to go to a shoe store (or even better, a Running Shoe specialty store) and try on a bunch of pairs.

Since the shoes are almost always made of synthetic materials, the “stretching” or breaking in is minimal. They should feel perfect immediately. Remember to give yourself some room in the toe box.

The reason I recommend a specialty running shoe store is that they will usually let you run a little bit in the shoes outside, while sporting goods stores will not. Also, the salespeople are generally knowledgable about foot types, stride types, etc, and will know which shoes to recommend.

But you have to make the choice. All of those are fine shoes. If they feel great, but there are small issues, you might consult this website to see how you can lace them differently. This is if the shoes feel perfect, but you have a little bit of heel slip or something.
