Escrima Arnis
Does anyone know the training routines of arnis/escrima?
There are lots of different styles. Some stay exclusively in long range, some use only a dagger. some train in all ranges and use all weapons including those listed below. There are also empty hand, boxing, kicking, trapping and wrestling techniques.

Generally a lot will start out with single stick and use thrusts and slashes across the body at aimed targets, these strikes will be numbered for reference. If you can deal with a stick strike from that angle then dealing with an empty hand should be pretty easy.
You learn various different types of hits and how to counter them at different ranges from different positions and with a variety of weapons or empty handed.
