Is that a warrior SHORT advantage more than once?
Anyone familiar with MMA will tell you that are shorter, allowing more muscle of the same weight class, but in many cases, less reach. The fight, not less to give people the advantage of better balance, slightly more force (body builders are always shorter than the men, and press more weight), or any other benefits? Im guessing that in some disciplines (judo, wrestling), to benefit less, and these people are able to overcome a kickboxer, or the like, you know get their hands on them. What do you think?
It all depends on the trainer. Obviously, to come to a point where if too short, you will not be able to to compete. If they want to compete with the big boys in the HW, you should have about at least 5'8 ". Anything less and you're sacrificing too much access and power. 5'8 "is a nice combination of agility and power. Vovchancyn Igor See an example of this. If a good coach who can help you learn to fight in a style that you like against higher opponents, if you like rediculously short of the weight class. See Tyson the 5'9 "(He was billed as 5'11" but he really only 5'9 "). He does not fight like a traditional boxer but his trainer CUS D'Amato helped him learn to duck and weave, and KO people with only a short, quick combos.
