Sunny Mini
The leaves on my mini rose at the top that face outwards are green but the ones that face inwardsare yellow???
The rose is in my yard, i live in a sunny country i only noticed that some of the leaves that face inwards were yellow when i went to “deadhead” some spent blooms.Any advice would be appreciated. thanks. I usually water once a week or sometimes not because it usually rains every 2-3 days and the soil is usually very moist
Also the yellow leaves are totally yellow and very bright
what does rootbound mean
Could be iron or nitrogen deficieny, but if it’s very moist, that’s probably the problem. You may want to dig it up and check that it isn’t root-bound, and put a layer of rocks/gravel under it to help it drain a little better. Roses are finicky (as I’m sure you know by now), so you may want to do a pH test on the soil; if it’s too acidic or alkaline, the plant won’t take in the nutrients it needs.
