cause soars in a horses mouth over time.
Has anyone had this problem here, with their horses using this style (rubber coated) bit ?
Sometimes people make the bit too tight and this could possibly be causing it to rub a sore. I’ve used rudder D bits a lot and if you make them too tight in the horses mouth, I have seen them rub a sore just on the outside of the back of the horses mouth. But if you know how to set it, it won’t happen. It never happened to any of my horses.
