What is the optimal length of workout for a Rowing Machine?
A friend just told me about Concept 2 rowing machines and I tried one out at the gym today. I love it! I use a variety of machines and take classes but the rowing concept is all new to me. What is the optimal length to spend on the machine? I’d like to incorporate it into my routine but not sure how long to shoot for (also, how many times a week would you advise)? Thanks in advance for any insight!
the good thing about the cocept 2 is that it works your entire body. it is new to you so your body will be challenged so you perhaps won’t be able to go as long as doing other cardio stuff. try at least 20 minutes and work your way up. note the adjuster to change the intensity level. the more you put into this exercise, the more you get out of it. you should consider joining a rowing team if you really enjoy it.
