The Flamboyant Nokia 6500 Slide Mobile
The Nokia 6500 Slide is an elegantly designed handset with a flip open style. The screen is incorporated on the upper slide along with some control buttons that aid in better navigation. The keypad remains embedded in the inner slide. This mobile is famous for its 3.15 MP camera that gives a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The music player of the 6500 is capable with most of the “popular” formats.
With preloaded ringtones of MP3 and polyphonic grade, the handset is capable of storing a lot more such games and ringtones in its whopping memory. There is a display screen that gives a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and supports 16 M colours. This 2.2 inch screen can be used to view videos and pictures at a sharp resolution. The data and files that are downloaded from the net can also be viewed on the screen of the mobile. The handset works on 2G as well as 3G networks and so can be used to access everything that a third generation phone can offer.
The connectivity of this mobile remains superior due to the presence of GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth and USB port. Any down loaded music can be played with the music player that supports formats such as MP3, AAC and AAC+. For the purpose of entertainment, there is also a FM radio that brings entertainment in the form of music, songs and jokes. The 3.15 MP camera is good for capturing pictures with a very sharp resolution. This camera can also be used for the purpose of video recording.
Messaging with this handset is really exciting with options such as SMS, MMS, email and instant messaging. Any message received can be stored for a long period in the 20 MB user memory of the Nokia 6500 Slide. The battery of the mobile gives a standby time of 310 hrs and a talktime of 6 hrs.
