To answer your question, yes. Whitetail ski resort has quite a large pro shop which rents out both skis and snow boards. They also have a very extensive lessons program which are for beginners all the way up through advanced.
Also available for about $6 are lockers which you can keep your change of clothes and there is a complimentary ski/snowboard check where you can have someone watch your equipment while you are eating or otherwise not on the slopes.
Their equipment is pretty good too and well maintained. Overall it is a very well run resort.
Just be aware if you go there on a Saturday or Sunday to get there early as it can get very crowded and some rental lines can be almost an hour long.
