What to Do when you hit a powerline drilling the wall.?
This weekend I was installing my flat screen TV into the wall. I was drilling through what seemed to be Plaster but not concrete. On the last hole I Hit a power line of sorts and knocked out 2 outlets. All the other outlets in the house work fine.
When I looked I had stupidly been drilling directly in line with a outlet on the bottom of the wall. What should I do?
I was told that Maybe I should Break the wall or try to somehow cut out the plaster and mend the 2 lines. I really Don’t want to break the wall but If I have to I have to it guess. I live in an apartment Building.
Call an electrician now. Exposed power lines could burn down your entire building.
