Monitor Alarm
Is there a door monitor alarm system that you can turn on & off from the outside?
I am looking for a battery powered door monitor, similar to what you can buy at Radio Shack, Target, etc., except that I need one that I can be able to turn on & off from the outside, before I open the door.
I will be using this at a small day care facility & I need to be alarmed if a child attempts to ope the doors.
I will be using the standard ones that the super stores have on all of the doors, but there is (1) door leading to the rear parking lot that needs to be able to turn on & off when staff enters the building.
Yes there is. Look into pool alarms. The one I installed for my pool was battery powered and used an indoor module with the battery and an outdoor switch. wires will need to be run for the door contacts as well as the switch outside. I found mine at Silmar Electronics, but I’m sure any security alarm supply house will have what you need.
