is it ok to do heavy bag work with mma gloves instead of boxing gloves?
also if im using mma gloves, should i wear Hand Wraps too or are they too bulky to put on along with the mma gloves?
I use MMA gloves without wraps. It allows me to do palm strikes, clinch for knees, gives me a more “realistic” experience. I keep my hands open when my guard is up. Palms slightly forward. Just make sure to make tight fists. Otherwise, you may injure your fingers. Also, use a lighter bag than usual. Work Out on a 60lb or 80lb bag, max. Punching a 100lb bag can cause wrist injuries.
