HOW TO KEEP AN ICE CUB FROZON FOR 24 HOURS WITH OUT MELTING ?
in my science class we have to keep a block of ice that is 240ml. we have to build it and keep it frozen 4 24 hours. it has to be smaller then 2000 cubic cm. what is the best mats to build it out of.
Do you mean you have to build a container smaller than 2000 cubic cm to hold a 240ml cube of ice for 24 hours? Because it sounds like you missed that part out.
Anyway, what you should do is make a container 20×10x10 from silver foil and a bit of wood so that it will stay rigid and half fill it with some other ice cubes. Then put your cube in there coated in foil and then top the rest of the container up with more ice and put a foil lid on it. The other ice should melt first before your cube does and it will last at least 24 hours i reckon.
