How to feed 1 and 9 months old kid who does not take any thing in his mouth except water?
My grandson does not take any thing in to his mouth even to taste. Her mother has to feed him the milk and mixture of rice and pulse etc in to his mouth forcibly by taking him in lap and push the liquid or semiliquid in to his mouth. In this process the kid keep on crying and try to come out of his mothers grip. This is going on since last one year, At present he takes away his mouth away if you offer him something to eat. Please suggest the wayout.
YOU SHOULD TRY PUTTING SOME FINGER FOOD IN-FRONT OF THE CHILD AND THEN LEAVE HIM TO TRY IT FOR HIMSELF. THIS WILL ALLOW HIM TO EXPLORE FOOD ON HIS OWN TERMS DONT SAY THINGS LIKE EAT THIS OR TRY TO PUT IT IN HIS MOUTH FOR HIM ALLOW HIM TO DO IT HIMSELF. IF BUY CHANCE HE DOES PT SOME FOOD IN HIS MOUTH GIVE HIM SOME QUICK PRAISE AND THEN AGAIN LEAVE HIM TO TRY MORE ON HIS OWN DONT ASK OR TELL HIM TO EAT. HE WILL ALSO BE PICKING UP ON THE ANXIETY AT MEAL TIMES SO TRY AND BE CALM AND KIND OF CARE FREE IF HE DOESNT EAT THE FOOD THATS OK GIVE HIME A SMALL DRINK AND REPEAT THE STEPS AT THE NEXT MEAL
