whats best baby gym/play mat for newborn?
just trying to get organised and would like to ask u what u think the best ones are? theres so many to choose from i cant decide whats best!!
we have a ladybird playgym from Mamas & Papas which looks absolutely lovely and fun, but our baby didn’t “like” it until she was older, like 4-5 months old? and now she loves it a lot (sitting up to pull the little friends down) and she’s nearly 9 months old.
For myself, I found newborns are not really interested in toys, what they do is to sleep, take milk, nappy change time, then sleep again. when they are awake, they want mummy’s cuddles rather than playing with toys.
Ah, a bouncing chair will be handy though, you can put the baby in there whilst you are doing something else but you can keep him/her in your sight. and she feels more secure hence no crying.
If you do want to buy 1, any one with those arch will be fine, they all do the same, but brands are quite pricy, like mamas&papas.
