Exercise Sleeper

Exercise Sleeper
Is it a bad idea for an insomniac to take medication? (Details)?

In the last year or two, I have found that I am at my peak (energy wise) at night-time (around 9pm onwards I seem to ‘wake up’ and kickstart).

I exercise often each day, and when I go to sleep at night I can literally lay awake all night until the sun rises. I have also found that even if I get an hour or two of sleep (on very rare occasions), I feel worst when I wake up on a morning.

I’ve heard horror stories about sleeping pills, but am seriously considering trying that path as I haven’t slept for a full night in almost two years now. I used to a bad sleeper, but I seem to be getting worst and worst as I get older – I’m 19 now.

When I don’t sleep, I feel alert in a morning but hit a lethargic period mid afternoon – and I’m my eyes are becoming glazed over.

Hmm..
I think you should see a doctor and get him to prescribe you something to help you sleep.
You can buy stuff over the counter to help you sleep, but pharmacies can only sell them for short term use only.
What a doctor prescribes will be stronger too.
Good luck :)
