Curl Weight
How can I start curling more weight?
For now I can only curl 25 lbs dumbbells, I’m 120 lbs.
I’m wondering how I can curl up to 40-45s. OR how can I make 25s seem more light because every time I curl them they always seem the same weight. Should I start doing more reps?
If theres one thing i do well at a gym its military curls. I used to be your size a few years ago now but I’ll tell you when I finally got up to 165 lbs and was doing a set routine for 4 months I was able to curl 55 lbs in each arm for 8 reps. That was up from 40 at the beginning of the summer that year. Anyways, I’m assuming that 25 lbs is your usual 8 to 12 rep range for curls. Its simple, workout bicepts twice a week. In each workout do two exercises that hit the bicepts. Make sure one of them uses your body weight, pull ups, military pull ups, any variation of that. The other one save for the end of your workout, and do drop sets. Do 2 sets of drop sets twice a week and you’ll be curling 40 lbs in months.
