Calf Raise
how often and how much should you do calf raises?

i was wondering if you should do calf raises everyday for the improvement in jumping for basketball. how much should i do and any tips of anyone can help. Thank You.

You should do them whenever you can. You should start off doing about 30 a day (or when you really feel it). When they start to become easy, increase the amount you do. Doing leap ups also help with your vertical leap. They get tiring once you hit about 25. My coach makes us do this as punishment, but it really works. Stay in one spot and just jump using your arms. Like the calf raises, increase the number as it becomes easier. Good luck =]
