Belly Belt
Alternative to a belly belt.?
I’m going out for dinner tonight and i’m VERY pregnant. I want to wear a pair of MY normal size pants but obviously they don’t fit. I’m wondering if anyone has a great idea similar to the Belly belt but that I can make at home. Would love a belly belt but can’t get to the shops to buy one and I need it tonight.
If you have an old Tank Top from the summer that basically fits but just doesn’t cover your belly you can use that with a few alterations. If you are willing to part with it just cut the top off, right at the armpit level. Now you should have a sort of “tube top” with the body portion of the tank. You can wear this as a layering piece under another shirt. Put it on and pull it down till it covers your belly, you may have to pull the top down to the middle of your belly if that’s what it takes. This will cover the top of your pants so you can do the old rubber band trick and nobody will be th wiser. Hope this helps.
