do young women in Korea like to study Tae Kwon Do or other Martial arts?
I had an ESL student from Korea named MIn Hee, she was tall and mild mannered, yet she did a kick that could have knocked a person out cold. She did this during break time, I was the teacher and yes I am sure I gave her an A+ for the class. I did not want to got to the hospital…So do some/ many women take TKD or martial arts in South Korea, I am wondering??
I’m a young adult woman and I take Taekwondo. 1/4 of the class is usually young girls. I know a lot of parents put their daughters in Taekwondo if they feel they are very shy and quiet. I guess they think it might get them out of their shell. A lot of girls are just into martial arts so they take Taekwondo.
